Guided tour of Bilbao and Frank Gehry's Guggenheim Museum; lunch on board to Santander, the Belle Époque capital of Cantabria.
Potes — La Hermida — Comillas
Through the Hermida gorge to Potes; thermal circuit at La Hermida Spa; afternoon at Gaudí's El Capricho in Comillas. Overnight at Cabezón de la Sal.
Altamira — Santillana del Mar — Llanes
The Altamira Neocave and the medieval village of Santillana del Mar; on into Asturias to the harbour town of Llanes.
Picos de Europa — Covadonga — Oviedo
Lake Enol and the Sanctuary of Covadonga in the Picos de Europa National Park; evening in Oviedo, capital of Asturias.
Gijón — Luarca
Seafront Gijón, then along the Asturian coast to Luarca, the 'white town of the green coast'.
Ribadeo — Playa de las Catedrales — Viveiro
Into Galicia: the cathedral arches of Playa de las Catedrales at low tide, panoramic Ribadeo, and the ría of Viveiro.
Ferrol — Santiago de Compostela
Final breakfast on board to Ferrol; coach to Santiago de Compostela, ending before the great cathedral around midday.
